This was a semi-secret project, no? Just kidding. Strictly furnishing jobs are hard to hashtag and document through the process, so sometimes a reveal can come up and you’ll be like, “Whoa – what is this?!”
The Royal Highlands project was just beyond lovely. The home had a great layout. The family had great style. All we needed was to bring in beautiful furniture, textiles, and accessories (oh, and change a light or four).
At the beginning of every project I do, I have clients fill out a “style diagnostic”. This provides us with a common vocabulary as we talk about the space, and gives me a clear direction as I begin to design. The key descriptives this sweet family wanted for their space were organic, comfortable, minimal, earthy, and happy. I really think we hit the nail on the head, but don’t take my word for it…
