It’s May. MAY. I just…how? HOW?! This is the weirdest year. I don’t even have much of an intro to this post for y’all because I’m genuinely flabbergasted by the date…
In case you missed it…

I started a new category of post on Monday lazily called “Well That’s Rad…” It’s a chance for me to highlight my favorite design trends, and this week’s was conical lighting. You can learn more and see a round-up of my favorites by clicking here.

On Thursday I broke down my morning skincare routine for y’all. SO random, but I promise you I get asked multiple times a week for this post, so here you go. I didn’t really notice how much I favor this one brand until I wrote my routine down, but now it’s clear: I’m a super fan.
Now for the haps…

Anyone else playing more board games than you ever dreamed possible lately? Same. We needed a new one (for the sake of sanity – one can only play Sorry! so many times before one starts to crack), and this one has been so fun. It’s a tad beyond my 3 and 5-year olds, but Truman (7) is the main game-pusher in our home and it’s right up his alley. Full disclosure: I may have bought it for the 1960s NYC setting.

This makes three weeks in a row that I’ve brought up denim shorts, which is objectively too many weeks. BUT, the ones I finally found and love are 30% off this weekend, and I felt compelled to share. Neither are super short, but of the two this pair is longer (but I think I prefer the wash on these).

I think I’m late to the game on this podcast, but I just started listening and it is VERY fun. It’s actually what initiated our friend-group’s new Saturday night tradition that I mentioned here (it’s Fultz’s week to pick the movie, and he nailed it with Good Will Hunting).

Speaking of podcasts, my boys have gotten VERY into this one. So thankful for great churches that share solid content.
That’s us. Is it still May? Cool. Still confusing. Stay tuned to the blog, because I’m going to be doing my next reveal series starting on Monday (OUR HOUSE!). Also, scroll down to the bottom of this page and sign up for the newsletter, would you? I’m thinking of actually just making these Weekend Haps posts a weekly letter to subscribers, so sign up if you don’t want to miss out!
